I earned my J.D., cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 2005, and have been licensed to practice in South Carolina since January 2006. In law school, I was executive editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and also served as president of the student chapter of the Christian Legal Society (CLS).
I earned my undergraduate degree in history in 2001, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg.
